Oakland is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Only a few days before a retirement party I decided we needed a specially-decorated cake for 25 people. Des was a joy to work with to make it happen, even at such short notice, and the resulting cake was a masterpiece and the star of the show! Thank you so much :-)

Update: The owner reached out personally to make things right by refunding my purchase and offering a complimentary drink. It’s clear they take pride in their quality and truly value their customers. My kids are happy this time and finished the drink. Original Review: I’d recommend avoiding the shop right before closing. While the staff was very friendly, the quality wasn't what we usually expect. The boba was quite hard instead of its typical soft texture, and the drink flavor seemed off compared to our previous visits. Since they were closing up, we weren't able to address it in the moment,my kids didn't finish the drink, but I appreciate the management's quick follow-up to fix the situation.

We wanted to try something new today, so we ordered the curry chicken sandwich—and it was absolutely bomb. If you’re not great with spice, you can definitely ask for it milder. The curry is slow-cooked for six hours in chicken broth, and you can really taste the depth and richness of the flavor. It pairs perfectly with the bun. This is a must-try, and don’t forget to order their fries. Of course, I had mine extra spicy. I also heard they have authentic Hong Kong milk tea, which is definitely going on my must-try list. Oh, and they just added a new self-order kiosk, so you can skip the line—huge plus!

Such cute and yummy drinks and really nice concept! What brought us to this place was not only because it was on the way to our destination (which a lot of boba places were too), but because of how creative the names of the drinks are which they were all Alice and Wonderland themed! Everyone also loved their drinks and it was certainly delicious. The staff were very kind especially in asking us clarifying questions for our drinks since we ordered it online and wanted it to be perfect for us. As we waited, we browsed around the cafe since they also carried bakery items. I ended getting the pizza bread which went well with my drink! Will definitely drop by when we are in the area again!
